Kathryn Tracy Salzano has lived in DuPage for almost 40 years. Her many community activities include leadership roles in Church Trustee, Girl Scout Leader, Soccer Coach, and PTA. She majored in Psychology and Spanish, with a minor in Computer Science at Elmhurst College. She briefly lived and worked in Spain and Italy, and has a Masters Degree in Spanish Linguistics from the University of Illinois. Professionally, she is a small business owner and an educator, having taught Spanish courses at Elmhurst College, College of DuPage, Timothy Christian High School, Immaculate Conception Grade School, as well as to home schoolers. She has also taught English as a second language. Kathy currently teaches Spanish at the Science and
Arts Academy in Des Plaines.
She lives in Elmhurst with her husband and
their three children.
